Drawing II

Self Portrait done in Nu Pastel. My teacher liked what I did with the glasses and the highlights on the left side.
I finished the first portrait a day and a half early so I started a new one. I've never done a self portrait smiling so I thought I'd try it. I don't like how it turned out, the proportions are off.
Pastel study in preparation for pastel still life.
Pastel still life done on blue pastel paper. It was used as an example in front of the class :)
Detail on the onion in the pastel still life.
Detail on shadow and reflection on the tea pot.

I'm really enjoying my Drawing class. I didn't realize how much I missed drawing and doodling. I'm happy that the things I'm doing are being noticed. I also like that my prof says the suggestions I have for other students are what they would have told them.

Digital Imaging

This was done for my Digital Imaging class this semester. There is 20 layers to make up this piece. I used seven pictures to make the composite image. Click on it to get a larger view.
I did this one for fun because I love that Zach was coloring in a princess coloring book. The crayon above his ear makes me happy :) There is nine layers in this one with four pictures used.
